Connecting with Other Initiatives

Pyramid Plus Framework

Connecting with Other Initiatives

Collaboration at the state and local level is a core value of Pyramid Plus.

One way of meeting our collaboration goal at the state level is to work with the State Policy Team to establish a number of Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs).  The number and topics of TAGs will evolve as the work of the state policy team evolves.  The following TAGs have been established:

  • Professional Development
  • Inclusion
  • Higher Education, and
  • Data/Evaluation.

TAGs are an opportunity for connecting with other initiatives, sharing of information, and obtaining broader stakeholder input to the work of the State Policy Team and the Pyramid Plus Center.   The process for establishing a TAG includes 1) consensus by the State Policy Team of the need, 2) an agreed upon description of the purpose of the TAG, 3) the desired outcomes and timeline of the TAG, 4) membership of the TAG, including State Policy Team member, Pyramid Plus Center member, and other stakeholders such as people representing other initiatives, family members, direct service providers and other experts.

Current connections through the state policy team include:
