The Pyramid Model
Pyramid Plus Framework
The Pyramid Model
Pyramid Plus: The Colorado Center for Social Emotional Competence and Inclusion uses the Pyramid Model for Promoting the Social and Emotional Development of Infants and Young Children as a foundation for our work. This tiered approach, developed by the Center on the Social Emotional Foundations of Early Learning (CSEFEL) and the Technical Assistance Center on Social Emotional Intervention for Young Children (TACSEI), includes extensive, user-friendly training materials, videos, and print resources available directly from the CSEFEL website. We partner closely with TACSEI to use the Pyramid Model as a framework for improving the children with, or as risk for, delays or disabilities.

What is the Pyramid Model?
Please take a few moments to watch an overview of the Pyramid Model, presented by TACSEI Principal Investigator, Lise Fox.
Rosemarie Allen, Director, Division of Child Care, Colorado Department of Human Services discusses how the Pyramid Model helps adults understand and prepare for childrens' challenging behavior.
